High Praise at Dalby Business Excellence Awards
The first of the 2010 District Business Excellence Awards Presentation Events was held in Dalby on Friday 22 October, recognising Total Care Pets & Vets as the 2010 Dalby District Business of the Year.
Over 500 representatives of local business and industry celebrated with hosts Dalby Chamber of Commerce & Industry, capping off a second year in which Dalby businesses have utilised the business awards model now operating across the Western Downs region.
"It was a wonderful event, a credit to the exceptional businesses in the Dalby district."
Cr Andrew Smith, Council's Economic Development Portfolio, recognised the success of the 2010 Business Excellence Awards.
“Congratulations to all the Nominees as well as the Category Crystal and Distinction Winners. Once again, Dalby Chamber of Commerce and Industry has delivered a truly remarkable event." Cr Smith said.
Gerard Betros, Head Judge, commented that the submissions indicated local businesses cared for their community and had a passion for customer service. “USQ is interested in partnering with businesses in their success and capturing the bright future of the region”, he said.
